Dr Ryan Maguire

Ryan is a Research Associate at Pangea Botanica and is supporting R&D projects across our early stage pipeline.

During his PhD, Ryan used pre-clinical models to assess the potential of several phytocannabinoids in stroke, as well as the pharmacology of two components used in a co-crystal formulation in stroke, cancer and IBS. Following this, Ryan was an Associate Scientist at Gifford Biosciences Ltd. where he primarily performed highly bespoke assays, using radioligands and autoradiography.

Ryan holds a BSc in Neuroscience and pharmacology and a PhD in Health and Medicine from the University of Nottingham.
