Dr Louise Tear
Senior Research Scientist
Louise is a Senior Research Scientist at Pangea Botanica and is supporting development work across our programmes.
Before joining Pangea, Louise worked at Trio Medicines Ltd, a small pharmaceutical subsidiary of HammersmithMedicines Research, where she worked across many aspects of early clinical development. Prior to this, Louise was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Turin. Her research focussed on coordination chemistry and the development of MRI contrast agents to probe specific disease states, such as hypoxia.
Louise holds a DPhil in Biomedical Imaging from the University of Oxford and an MChem in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Warwick. She also recently completed the Certificate in Human Pharmacology with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
